How their story led them to Gaudí’s Crypt
During their trip to Barcelona, Havie proposed to Isabel in Gaudí’s Crypt — and from that moment they knew this place would become the heart of their wedding story.
A year later, they made it happen. Organizing the ceremony there was not simple, and the ceremony itself was held in Spanish, but they managed to arrange everything and bring their dream wedding in Barcelona to life.

Тhe day before: a pre-wedding photoshoot
One day before the wedding, we also organized a pre-wedding photoshoot. I often recommend this session to couples — it helps you feel more relaxed in front of the camera and becomes a beautiful continuation of your story beyond the wedding day itself.
When combined with video, it creates a more elegant and complete film — not only about the wedding day, but also about the atmosphere and emotions leading up to it.
The wedding day: bride’s morning
Тheir closest family and friends traveled from Germany and Croatia to be with them.
The wedding was intimate, with around 30 guests, so we documented a shorter wedding format focused on the most meaningful moments.
We began with the bride’s morning preparations — calm, intimate moments and the final touches before everything begins.

First look
Then we photographed Havie and Isabel’s first meeting on the wedding day — a quiet moment for just the two of them before heading to the ceremony.

Ceremony
After that, we traveled to Gaudí’s Crypt for the ceremony. It was an incredibly beautiful setting, and we timed the ceremony for around 6:00 pm, close to sunset. The light fell softly through the space and created a truly cinematic atmosphere inside the crypt.
The ceremony lasted around 45 minutes, and right after it we photographed family portraits with their closest relatives near the church.

Portraits
After that, we returned to the hotel in Castelldefels. There we created relaxed portraits of Havie and Isabel, along with a few more family photos and the beginning of the celebration.

A perfect format for intimate weddings
Overall, this was a four-hour wedding coverage including travel time — a format I often recommend for weddings of up to 30 guests, especially when you want a calm timeline and minimal location changes. For a small wedding like this, the most comfortable setup is usually a two-person team — one photographer and one videographer — giving you full coverage of the key moments while keeping the day relaxed and effortless.
It’s a beautiful way to focus on what matters most, while still preserving the full atmosphere in a clean, elegant photo and video story.
