At first, their relationship developed slowly
Coming from different cultures meant they wanted to take time to get to know one another. Konstantin was born and raised in Germany, while Fresmelin is originally from the Philippines. Over time, Fresmelin began to see the qualities that truly define Konstantin: responsibility, gentleness, care, and a quiet kind of love expressed through everyday actions.
With patience and sincerity, Konstantin found the way to her heart. Before their wedding, he proposed — and of course, Fresmelin said yes.
Planning wedding day
From that moment, they began planning a wedding that would bring together the people who matter most in their lives. Barcelona was the natural choice for the celebration. Family traveled from Germany and the Philippines, and friends came from different parts of the world. The couple chose an intimate format — around 40 guests — creating a warm atmosphere where every hug, every smile, and every word carried meaning.
Our team was invited to document the day through both photography and video. From the very beginning of the day until the celebration with guests, our goal was to preserve the entire story as it unfolded.

The wedding day
The day began at the couple’s home, where we captured a few quiet moments of the bride and groom getting ready. These first moments of the day always carry a special atmosphere — anticipation, excitement, and the feeling that something truly meaningful is about to begin.

Civil ceremony
After the preparations, we walked together to the civil ceremony location — a beautiful government building with elegant staircases, arches, and large halls. The architecture created a stunning setting for both portraits and cinematic video moments with the couple and their guests.
The ceremony itself lasted around 20 minutes. Unlike a church ceremony, it was shorter and more compact, yet the exchange of vows and rings carried the same emotional weight and significance.

Portraits
When the ceremony ended, guests welcomed the newlyweds outside the hall. We then spent some time creating wedding portraits of the couple — a relaxed session capturing their first moments together as husband and wife.

Reception and party
Afterward, everyone continued the celebration at the reception venue. The evening included the couple’s arrival and welcome, the first dance, heartfelt toasts, joyful dancing, and of course the cake cutting. The celebration felt lively, emotional, and beautifully balanced throughout the evening.

A detail that made the day even smoother
One important detail that helped the day flow so naturally was that all the key locations were close to each other. This meant the couple and their guests didn’t need to spend time traveling between venues, allowing them to stay present in the moment and fully enjoy the celebration.
For weddings in this format, we often recommend having two professionals — a photographer and a videographer. This allows the team to capture both the emotional moments and the atmosphere of the day, preserving the story in a complete and natural way.
